lobolife
Hey everybody thanks for looking . The problem is there is this girl at my work that i have gotten close too.we would always sit together for lunch and talk . when ever one of us has free time we actively seek each other out to talk.we started taking our friendship out of the work place. well talk on the phone for hours and recently we spent all night till like 3am hanging out . thats fine with me I'm not looking for a relationship because i have been together with someone for about 5 yrs now (even thought we have been having problems for a little while). She has also been in a relationship for 2 and a half years but with another female . but the relationship with her girlfriend is strained she has kept it a secret from her family and is not very open about it ( she is middle eastern and they would never accept it ). she always brings up WHAT IF? we weren't in relationships questions and telling me she ("likes"?) me then tells me it will never work and then just looks at me.(that confuses me ) So this is were my question lies. Is it safe to continue the very close friendship, i do enjoy her company and we can talk about anything . But as most guys know this type of closeness with someone almost always ends up with somebody catching feelings and then getting hurt. I have strong feelings for her but they are not romantic (as of yet ) Should i just forget about it and just enjoy someone i can talk to about anything ? Note : It seems to me she is confused of her sexuality. and the acceptance and happiness of her parents is important to her. To me this maybe a way for her to try and deal with the idea of not being able to make her parents happy as to try to "HAVE HER CAKE AND EAT IT TOO" THANKS Confused in maryland
