The Flu: gratuitous post for sympathy

Last week I nursed my husband back from stomach flu h3ll (and did a darn fine job of it).

 

Friday I'm supposed to accompany him to New Hampshire.

 

This morning I woke up with a 101 fever and well...

 

I'm bummed. Looks like I'm staying home with the dogs and a whole lotta emetrol. Bright side, look at all the time I can use feeding a new LS addiction!

Oh, I hope you get well soon. Take care of yourself and drink lots of fluids.

 

I don't even remember the last time I had the flu -probably 2-3 years ago!

 

I asked my doctor about that, since I thought there must be something wrong with me not getting it. He said everything is A-okay. Phew!

Stomach ailments are not the same thing as influenza. Some of them are viral but a LOT are caused by food handling and aren't 'flu at all.
