GivingUp
My ex and I have been going out for a year and a half, it was difficult because it was a long distance relationship which is very hard we have been broken for 3 months and she finally heard I was seeing a girl and got way jealous. She has contacted me last week which was really wired she said she was sorry for breaking up in the way she did she says she would have changed it if she had an chance. I told her don’t worry about it things are good and I am over it the call lasted about 20 min or so. She was about to end the call but I told her things are cool don’t worry. I acted very casual to her on the phone I never said I missed her or loved her at all. She wanted to fix the friendship I told her its imposable to be friends with your exs but I told her nothing is impossible. I think the feelings are there plus I think she realized that I am moving along and doesn’t like it. Basically when we broke up she wanted me to move on and when she heard and she realized that I was moving on she wanted to contact me. She is coming back for x-mas break in a week and I know she is going to wanna see me and how should I act/ we broke up when she started school I just don’t want to be her safety net I think if there was anyone in her life she probably wouldn’t have called as well I wish she hadn’t at times because it hurt but I went back to no contact. i haven't seen her since we broke up. ultimon
What I would do in your position is to act polite and friendly but also show her that she is insignificant to you in your life. That is if you don't plan on getting back with her. I think you've already made it pretty clear that the only reason she is contacting you is b/c she's jealous w/ your new girl and the fact that you've moved on so quick.
