yongyong
I am lifting weights and thinking of getting electric tanning to look healthy Ladies, if you know a guy who goes to tanning bed, is it girly?? I am sure if I show up with tanned skin after fall break, people would know it's not natural..... I am Asian guy and have light colored skin (you know, most chinese, korean, japanese has the light skin) My another concern is what if my skin color confuses people about my ethnicity:D (no offense to those asians who have dark skin) any comment would be appreciated! BabyPhoenix
Ladies, if you know a guy who goes to tanning bed, is it girly?? Girly, no. Carcinogenic, yes. Seriously, anyone who gets a fake-bake is a frakkin' idiot.
blind_otter
Whatever tickles your pickle, dude. I'm not that into it meself, though.
amaysngrace
Tanning's not good for ANYONE. Like in a bed or chamber or whatever you call them. They bake your internal organs.
climbergirl
Girly....no. Just make sure you wear a cocksock.
climbergirl
Those spray tans may be a better option though.
HeadlessZebra
Sorry, but I do think it's a bit (read: very) fruity for a guy to do tanning salons. I'm a bit repelled by guys who are more vain than me. Besides, why the heck do you need a tan? What's so great about being darker? Not to mention getting skin cancer and wrinkles? I hate to be un-PC, but you know Asians generally do not age well... after 40 most shrivel up like prunes... I'm sure you don't want to speed up that process?
IpAncA
No it's not girly. A friend of mine used to work at a tanning place and guys would come in more then you think. People of all ages go in there.

johan
Tanning's not good for ANYONE. Like in a bed or chamber or whatever you call them. They bake your internal organs. Mythbusters put dead chickens on tanning beds and turned the power way up. If I remember correctly, there was no temperature difference. Nothing got baked. I would never pay for a tan, myself. I'd just go outside and get one for free. If it's winter, then I don't need one that bad.
Porn_Guy
Mythbusters . are those two totally gay or what?!

IpAncA
Not in the slightest! Why do you think that its fruity? There are other reasons why guys go to tanning bed and not just for looks. And it's not to hit on girls either.
TYASAFAHICSI
Tanning beds make your willie shrivel up and fall off!

Vanquish
I tan once a week, and im a guy. I'm not vain. I'm not feminine. And im not gay. Check your egos and insecurities and just go, don't be a pussy and give in to what popular culture wants you to believe. But don't overdo it, orange/extremely dark brownish colored tans look tacky and fake.
Star Gazer
Tanning is clearly a very vain thing to do, and in that sense, knowing that a guy goes to a tanning salon is a turn off. However, I find tan men incredibly hot... so I'm not sure my opinion even counts!! lol

However, using tanning beds does make you stupid, male and female alike. Hope you are looking forward to a potential future of kemo. From skincancer.org: "In 1994, a Swedish study found that women 18-30 years old who visited tanning parlors 10 times or more a year had seven times greater incidence of melanoma than women who did not use tanning salons. And in 2002, a study from Dartmouth Medical School found that tanning device users had 2.5 times the risk of squamous cell carcinoma and 1.5 times the risk of basal cell carcinoma." amaysngrace
Mythbusters put dead chickens on tanning beds and turned the power way up. If I remember correctly, there was no temperature difference. Nothing got baked. They were DEAD! All I know is when I tanned before this aroma in the air reminded me of being at a pig roast. Kinda like when people are being burned alive. I smelled that once when this condo near my parent's house caught fire. It made me physically ill. And that smell, well it's just too familiar. Pyro
Wow I never thought that men would have a problem with going to tanning places. Did you see Final Destination 3? That doesn't make me anymore interested in a tanning bed.

I'm sure you don't want to speed up that process? That is so not true, dude. My Grandmother didn't get gray hair until she was 60. My mother looks like she's in her late 30s and she's in her mid-50s. No wrinkles, no nothing. The only thing that makes her look old is her salt and pepper hair and the old lady clothes she tends to wear. I hope I'm as wrinkle-free as my mum when I get to be her age. I doubt it though, since I've got white in me.
