I took steps to protect myself and what assets I was bringing to the table. Not to do it is just asking for trouble. It would be nice to assume that the love of your life is going to be around forever, but reality says that is a chance they won't be. (I should know, I have been divorced, then widowed later) Oh, absolutely... no need to be so silly that finances don't count. Sorry, that's just pure bullcrap. I tend to agree with this. If he's so intelligent, how come he's eating stupidly 'just because' it's what his wife cooks?
