Guest
The French drink a lot of wine but has good life expectancy. It's said the wine has something good in it (forgot the name). But Russians also drink a lot of wine, yet the health statistics doesn't seem close to the French? Is that because the French drink mostly grape-made wines, but Russians drink vodka (what is it made?)? I've never seen comparisons of these two and would like to hear comments. Kittiecat
I thought Russians primarily drank vodka? Anyway, I read an article about how there's a region in France that has a very high life expectancy because the grapes they make the wine with have a freakish amount of antioxidants. So not only do they live longer but they have a good buzz as well. Life must be pretty good in that part of France.
norajane
Vodka is made from fermented grain, not grapes.
alphamale
the French also have a very good diet. They eat good food but in small quantities. There are not a lot of fat french people.
