How to meet a girl in class?

So spring semester is coming. I usually didn't talk to even guys but this time I will do anything I can! (after spending christmas watching tv:lmao: )

 

Here is what I am going to do

 

From the first day, I am going to search a girl I like.

 

I noticed almost all people sit in the same spot throughout the semester.

 

If I can reserve a sit right next to pretty one, I would have many times to talk to her (make fun of professor, borrow notes etc )

 

This is my strategy........ any more ideas????????????

 

I'd like to meet a girl friend this way because we have the same interest (business major) and at least I know she is college educated (you can end up with a stripper in a club, I am looking for serious relationship)

 

the other place I can talk to people is food court but it's a lot harder!!!

 

so please share any ideas about how to meet people in college!!

If you haven't had much experience then I would suggest you go in with the expectation to make a friend instead of a love interest. This is because you will get rejected and it won't help your self confidence. So get self confidence first by talking to many girls and then start weeding thru the crowd to find someone you like. You'll still get shot down but you'll have self confidence in yourself to talk to the next girl because it will be easy by then.

In my opinion you should try to make her friend first than lover.when you become friend then you ask her out on date and i think then she will accept your date.

Your idea sounds good to meet people, but try not to limit to a single girl as it was said, try to make friends.

 

my 0.02 are:

Sit in a "hot spot" in the classroom. Having been student and TA I guess it is the middle of the room, towards the door (I do not know why, but it is like that in my U, more people in that side of the room). Then try to meet several persons.

 

Try to be part of a study group. Sit to read/write papers with other students.

 

Try to arrange for study meetings on thursday... that's when most of the plans for the weekend are done. Make sure you are included in those plans. or better: come up with a plan and invite people.

 

Use the library, specially the cafe/cyber. If you have some HW to do, go do it there. You'll come across people you know (other students in the same class). Say hi and ask about how the class is going.

I'd also not limit yourself to only the pretty girls. There may be a plain looking girl who might be everything you're looking for except pretty. Looks fade but personalties usually stay the same. The pretty ones know they're pretty and can sometimes take advantage of that.

 

My 18 year old son had a choice of asking either a strikingly pretty girl to his prom or a plain Jane. Against my advice, of course he asked the pretty girl. She accepted. At prom, she danced with everyone other than my son and then after prom, stopped calling the house and was amazingly never home when he called her. She used him to get a date for the prom. He was heart-broken.

 

In the meantime, he became good friends with the plain Jane. He told me the other day that he wished he would have listened to me because he would have had a much better time at his prom with the other girl.
