Any thoughts on age relationships?

Recommended Posts

I am a 46 yr.old male and i love women, especially younger women. I was out the other night with a friend and met a couple of hotties in their 20's that i am sure i could have got a date with.

I am wondering what people think of older guys dating younger chicks?

Should i stay closer to my age or go for what i want?

You should do what makes you happy, not what others expect you to do. It's your life and you only have one.

Live it happily. :)

I'm 43.. I use the 10 year rule..The youngest I would date is 33.

Anything less is at a different rate of maturity for me

I have always felt that if you grow up watching a different era of cartoons then you will not have anything in common except fuqking..

This is of course only my opinion

How about the 21 rule? she is 21 and I am 42, so that's a 21 year spread.

D'oh!

Damn females, what is it about them?

Well I like guys my own age really or thereabout but some women like the more mature types.

I don't think I'd go with someone twice my age unless I was 45 and he was ninety, extremely loaded, had alzheimers, and I could pretend to him that he proposed. :p

No, you probably couldn't have! But, like a fruitcake at Christmas---it is really the thought that counts!

I think some women like older men. When I was 20 I dated a guy who was divorced and 30. Of course he gave me a Lincoln. That made him a lot more attractive to me.

But I liked him before he gave me the car. He was cute. But then after I smashed up the car in less than a week he got kind of mad and then he wasn't so cute anymore. :(

About shut-up and **** me! If your crazy about that person.

I guess so...

I don't think it's so much that you're crazy about the person, more like just horny. Or maybe both! :bunny:

well I have noticed as I get older the guys my age want much younger... mind you I just hit 40 and will still get carded if I go without make up and have my hair up...

but I do find it amusing that guys my age will go for younger, yet younger guys go for the older women... so now what happens at that in between stage when the young guy becomes the old guy and wants the young girl?

That's because guys are more visual. I promise you, and older woman that takes care of herself and remains attractive and fit, will get boys and men of all ages attraction after her.

Oh, brother! What's wrong with it is this. You may have fun in bed with a young hottie but what do you talk about afterwards, other than what or how you're going to do it next? After awhile even that conversation would get rather boring.

When I found myself deliciously single at 50 and decided to try dating after two years of living like a monk following a divorce, I specifically wanted to date someone at or near my own age -- someone who grew up in the same era I did, had lived through the same social changes I had as well as the same history, knew the same music I did as well as movies and the actors and actresses and above all, had the same maturity level I did.

The ex was five years younger than I was and that was about my limit. Ultimately I asked out a woman only two years younger. We've shared a lot more in the 10 years we've been married and it's all good!

If I was looking for a serious relationship I totally concur with you, but as for me I'm am new to the singles scene again so I'm just weighing out my options.

Sometimes I have the same problem with an "old" hottie ;)

You can have things in common with someone, even if your age isn't in common...

BTW, I'm not "stalking" you Rooster.... ;)
