I Am A Mm Living With Ow

Recommended Posts

My dear Reneet, what happened to Bobby Sherman? I noticed he was gone from your last post.

That's how I knew that you and I would never get along. See, I would take any of the Beatles or Michael Jackson (when he was still black) before Bobby Sherman. They have much more talent and are way cuter. But then again, you and I will never agree.

honestly I have no clue who Bobby Sherman is....

Googled for you YSM,

Robert Cabot Sherman, Jr. (born July 22, 1943 in Santa Monica, California) is an American singer and actor, who became a very popular teen idol in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

He first became famous as a house singer on the television series Shindig! from 1964 to 1966. The series is considered by many to be his "discovery" by the entertainment world. For several years, he tried to record singles and break out into the music business, but he did not have much luck until he earned a role on the television series Here Come the Brides.

In 1969, his first gold single, Little Woman, became enormously popular, peaking at #3 on the Billboard charts and spending nine weeks in the top 20, effectively cementing his status as a performer popular with teenage girls. His other hits were "Julie (Do Ya Love Me)", "Jennifer" and "The Drum". In 1971, after a high-rated appearance on The Partridge Family, he was given his own show on ABC, called Getting Together. The show was up against All in the Family on Saturday nights and due to the tough competition, the show was canceled after just thirteen episodes. However, both the hit single and the television series landed a number of cover stories on teenage magazines such as Tiger Beat.

In 1972, his first son was born, with another son following in 1974. Sherman guest starred in several episodes of the Jack Webb series, "Emergency" and found a new calling. It was at this time that Sherman focused more on his personal life, and he eventually left the public spotlight. He soon volunteered with the Los Angeles Police Department, focusing on paramedic, CPR, and first aid classes. He is also a full-fledged San Bernardino County sheriff.

Bobby built a one-fifth scale model of Disneyland's Main Street, made entirely by hand in his yard at home.

Wait, Maybe Bonehead is Bobby Sherman!!!

IsLoveHappiness

Hi,

I read your story and this kind of resembles my situation. I am not married. My love is not married either... But we both have long time live-in boyfriend / girlfriend... We met at work although for many years we were just friends until one day, 5 months back, things happened... We fell in love... I did not want anything... I did not want for anyone to get hurt... Both of us were unhappy with our relationships but none of us were looking to hurt our partners... We wanted to be just friends, but things just happened.

He made things difficult for me... I mean, it was difficult for me to not fall for him because he is everything I ever wanted... And because he was always the first one telling me that I am the woman of his life, the true love of his life, the woman he wants to marry, that he believes that soon we will be together... It seems that he never lied to me... We have a very strong friendship, we just feel very happy being together and spend a lot of time together except the weekends because we live with our partners... I told him that I wanted out... I mean, either we are together and only us... or we stay with our current partners and forget about each other because I cannot go on like this any more...

He told me that he's determined to be with me, that he has no doubts about us, that he wants to marry me and stay with me for ever, that he does not want to lose me for whatever the reason in the world. That he's convinced that he does not love his partner. It's just that he needs some time to clean up the things. Also because it's her who needs to move out. The house is his. Everywhere we go, even at work, everybody knows that we love each other. He's never hidden this in any way...

I am struggling so much... I don't know what to do... At home I have a man I love... and I do love him... But he's just too busy with his work for have some time with me... It's been months that we have not spent quality time together...

On the other hand, I have a man that I am in love with and I believe that he's also in love with me... But he's still living with his girlfriend... Although he is the one saying that he's not in love with her... He told me that he's closing his story, he already told her that he does not love her and no longer believes in their relationship but wants to give her time to move on and move out... he has not asked me to do the same... He says that he wants to be free for me but he's not asking me to do the same right away....

I am so confused... I don't know what to do... You went through the similar situation... Although you both were married. We are not but we have been living together with other people for years...

When do you know when the relationship is right? when do you believe in it? how do you know that he's really serious? I just know that I cannot go on like this any more... I am hurting for what I have done to others and myself...

GreenEyedLady

You seem to want a guarantee...that if you leave your BF, he'll leave his GF and you'll live happily ever after...life's not like that...people aren't happy all the time...

If you love your live-in BF, why even entertain these thoughts? Wouldn't it be better to try and fix what's wrong with the R? If not, why not just end it, without bringing anyone else into the mix...

End it for YOURSELF...because you're not happy with the current arrangement, you two don't HAVE to stay together...You actually don't HAVE to be with anyone...

Just my thoughts on your predicament...Good luck...

I am quite dated as I DO remember Bobby Sherman, he was on some dance show like American Bandstand? My mom watched it!

From what I remember the actual saying is:

"Peace, love, drugs, sex, vegetables and harmony".

Not that I know anything about that, either...

I thought it was "Sex, Drugs and Rock "n" Roll"

At least that's the way Mick Jagger did it.

The show was "Shindig" my sister watched it.

Boy oh boy do I have questions, but its not what you think...

1. How do we even know that you are not just impersonating parker, peacelove?

2. I agree with NF, why the MM and OW labels? Even a BS would not consider the two of you that as you have been together for 6 years!

3. Parker, what was the point of coming here? You are a rarity, the man that leaves the M. You would not be proving anyone here right or wrong as each sitch will stand by its own merits. That, and no one here witnessed the progression of the A btwn you and peace to know of the ups and downs and how you treated her, so on and so forth.

4. Peace, I thought you were sending him back to his W? LOL!

Word up!:lmao:
