i work with a coworker she gave me a present for christmas. (she also gave others presents too) she said that mine present was valued more.

so, i bought her a present, and she told me she liked it very much!.

She had rough day at work the other day, so i gave her some candy, and placed it in her jar. these were leftovers from christams. then she writes me this letter, thanking me for being so thougthful, and considerate, and blah..blah..

well, the thing is she has a boyfriend of 2 years. i think she may be shopping around for another guy.

she is seet and considerate. things for an ideal girlfriend. also, she is one of 4 people who did write a evaluation report about me for the year end report. i wouldn't mind talking with her more. any thoughts how i should approach this?

filirtying...that sounds like loads of fun.

I think the best thing for you to do is to back off.

She's got a boyfriend and she works with you. That's two things that will probably cause trouble for you.

And what if she's still with him? The fact that she has a boyfriend is just sketchy. If she's flirting with you while she's with him...that doesn't sound like quality girlfriend material.

Besides dating a co-worker is just asking for trouble. If things go sour you'll have to see her everyday. If she's a nut job she might even try to get you fired.

But if you don't care about your job, then go for it.

well, i have been looking for another job. well, i don't want to change her, but if she is up for it, then i will listen to what she has to offer. i don't think it would be trouble. it is two adults. it is not like anything happened..yet.

Why did you come here if you obviously already made up your mind what you want to do?

Is it at all possible that she could just be a charming woman who is like this with everyone??

And you know, last time I checked, even though I don't know if I personally FULLY believe in this, flirting is harmless. She probably does have a boyfriend and even if she was flirting with you, she probably doesn't think it will go anywhere. Enjoy the flirting perhaps but I wouldn't ask for more if I were you. Could get awkward

I am agree to Megnog! here, its depends, as you said, you know she is flirting with you and have a boy friend already and you don't want to leave her and after this you also know what result be declared about you.you just destroy yourself for her,it is not fair.

well, here is how it is. we have offices right next to each other. we harldy talk because each of us are working. i say we talk at the most 3 minutes twice a week. the other times we just say hi if we happen to look up. Other times we just walk by each other. As of right now i am not into her. I don't know much about her. Some people think she is the prettyiest person in the office. she is a working professional women. we both are professional adults. well, i think she is shopping around for another guy.

come on after so many they have beentogether. there is no sight of wedding in the future. i know some females who have boyfriends who look around for a better package. now if you don't know any females like then smell the coffee. and i don't think it is harmless to flirtback.

well, the times she gave me a present, and the times she wrote me a letter. what i did to thank her was i did go into her office, closed the door; told her to stand up, so i can hug her.

i just want to know the best way to approach her, not the best way to back off. thanks again for the info. i am alpha male and i am not stuck on this one girl.

As you've already said you are an "alpha male". So I'm sure you would know the best way to approach her.

an alpha male generally knows he has an easier shot with girls who aren't emotionally involved with someone already.

Agreed.. it is all about knowing your odds before going in.. An AlphaMale ( haha ) already knows his odds if she already has a BF.. Not very good..

Yup....leave her alone. If she is shopping around for a new boyfriend while still with hers, what makes you think she won't do the same with you when the relationship gets stale?

And me personally? I never messed around with anyone that had a boyfriend. You wouldn't want some guy zooming your girl would you?

If she is wanting a new boyfriend, then she needs to break up with the one she has before getting a new one. She is showing that she isn't very trustworthy or respectable. But if you are one of the kind of guys that doesn't care about that...well then......
