Guest
I've decided that I want to have a long term relationship instead of trying to get into some slut's pants at the bar when I'm half wasted. I'm 22 years old with nothing serious under my belt. My longest relationship, if you can call it that, has only lasted 3 months. I'm going to need to settle down some time so some practice is needed I suppose. And to be honest I've been wanting some sort of real companionship. The only thing is that I'm socially retarded when it comes to this. If I'm interested in the girl too much any sort of approach or initiation of conversation comes off weird or awkard (in my mind at least.) If I'm not interested in the girl naturally I don't initiate or respond to advances. It seems that any viable girl that I can have a relationship with has to be below a certain threshold interest level. In other words I have to be into them but not too into them. Effectively narrowing the range of girls I can have a relationship with. Anyway I'm 22 years old and in college. I'm tall, handsome and smart (according to many girls, I'm confident if a consensus were taken a clear majority would find me attractive.) This puts some balls into my court. Although there seems to be a few barriers to entry (real or imagined, I don't know.) I don't have a car and on Long Island it seems that a car and a girlfriend go hand and hand. My fashion sense is abysmal. I mean not awful but I'm nowhere near LI Hofstra boy. It's hard to motivate myself to what essentially boils down to vanity if taken seriously. So where do I go from here? How do I meet women and attract them long enough to stay in a relationship with me? How do I not fail to nervousness when I'm interested in a girl? I'm a retard when it comes to this. All I'm asking is that you please walk me through this.

The next thing I saw that kinda turned me off was calling women sluts. Even if they are its kinda in bad taste to say it realy maybe makes people think you dont have much respect for women as a hole. Now as far as getting a gf if it realy is what YOU want at this point in your life then great go for it!! Just be respectfull put your self out there maybe not in bars or clubs cuz dosent seam like the best place to meet a person whos realy into a lasting relashionship.
magichands
This puts some balls into my court. This could be your problem. Working with more than two at a time can cause real difficulties.
Touche
---*makes people think you don't have much respect for women as a hole. I should hope not! Women are more than just "holes." To the OP...what happened with the three month old relationship? Did she end it or did you?
