Woggle
My friend who lives a couple houses from me is going through a nasty divorce and while he has given up tryin to save his marriage and just wants a civil divorce his wife is planning in dragging him through the ringer. This past sunday him and his estranged wife were outside fighting and she was hitting him and laughing at him because she said he was too weak to hit back. She trying to provoke him to hit her and he showed great patience. My wife told me that I should get it on tape so I got out my video camera and recorded nearly the entire thing from the upstairs window and it is clear as day that she is abusing him. If I give this tape to him will it help in the divorce case?
a4a
I think that depends on the laws in your state if it would be considered or not. But put a copy of it on the net maybe this will keep other men from hooking up with this husband beater? You Tube it. Now the smartbutt side of me says you should sell it to the H so he has evidence or maybe blackmail the wife with it. You may as well make a buck of the pain of others........ isn't that the American way?

I like the You Tube idea and I will suggest it to him. He has my divorce lawyer as well so he should be okay. I might also suggest chraging her with assault because she really going at him and we have the evidence right on tape.
Art_Critic
I think you should give it to him.. if his case ever makes it to court then it will help him.. Just remember though that as the shooter of the tape that if it does make it to court that you may have to testify that you did take it as to authenticate it for the court. If he does decide to go for the jugular I will enjoy helping him legally tear her to shreds.
bluechocolate
He should have called the police & charged her with assault. Then she would have a criminal record. If I give this tape to him will it help in the divorce case? Given him the tape & let him as his lawyer if it would help.
