I started dating my ex about 7 mths ago...We have always had a relationship that involved jealousy and distrust...mostly on his side. Over the past few months things have been much better in getting along, but I started seeing signs of something wrong last week. I caught him lying about drinking and then leaving his phone in his car( has always gotten many texts at night...always saying work things..right). I uncovered last Friday that he was speaking to four different girls and had obviously had some type of physical contact with one. He of course asked for forgiveness and said it was a stupid mistake. Although he said he has cheated on every girl he has ever dated. he said he wants to work through this and wants me for his future. He has many red flags as well. All that I have uncovered over time and just recently through another ex girlfriend. * is a struggling alcoholic * cannot express emotion * loves prince *is a compulsive liar * said he was sexually abused several times as a child * obviously has a need to have sexual pursuits with several women at the same time. My question is not to give him a "second chance". I could never forgive him, but is it possible for him to change with therapy? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
