Author Teacher's Pet
Was that supposed to remind me of poopoo girl? That's what it did. -ddl guess who reads the archives? LOL... NO! That's an actual song from The Music Man. I was trying to re-enact a scene from the movie here, for comedic purposes. Obviously, I failed! -tp it was funnier when they did it on Family Guy
dropdeadlegs
I know it's a song from The Music man, but I couldn't resist. I also know that you will be a great second date tomorrow night! Just put on your top hat and have fun! I'm in your corner rooting for you!

Author Teacher's Pet
Well... I survived Date #2. We went to dinner, then stopped at a friend's place for a few minutes to wish one of my friends a Happy Birthday. My friends have taken a liking to "my new friend", and one even commented on how we seem to make a "cute couple". We had a really fun evening, I'm just.... I dunno... How do you say... not feeling "it"? I don't know. It's so hard to me to judge. She's a sweet person, very pretty, good sense of humor, but do I truly not feel a "romantic connection" with her? Or is it part of me clinging to my ex, who was a much "wilder", more aggressive woman? I don't know. This dating crap is confusing. -tp dating for dummies dropout
dropdeadlegs
Of course you survived, you're a survivor! As for the "it" factor.... I don't know if you can feel "it" if you're not over your ex. I couldn't if I wasn't. I usually feel that almost immediately...or not. But that's just me. I don't really know what else to say. I'm sorry, I wish I had more words. Or at least something incredibly funny. My LS evening has been somewhat of a downer. I need to spend more time hanging out at the water cooler. Tonite has been about subjects that are anything but fun or funny for me. Nothing like some lite fare on a Friday night, eh?
magichands
I usually feel that almost immediately...or not. But that's just me. They say that feeling is believing.
dropdeadlegs
They say that feeling is believing. I wish that were true, and maybe it is on second thought. Isn't it seeing is believing? Glad to see that someone is still around. I feel like staying up all night and sleeping all day like I did when I was a teenager, but all the posts are so gloomy....Where's the fun? (It's 2am here, not that far from daybreak really. What? Four hours?)
skimmy
We had a really fun evening, I'm just.... I dunno... How do you say... not feeling "it"? My honest opinion, TP, is that she's almost too sweet for you....I think you'd click better with someone who keeps you on your toes. I've told you this before...you need a dirty girl. You need someone happy and challenging....not the kind who needs saving, either!
Art_Critic
you need a dirty girl. Dirty is always good ..
Author Teacher's Pet
Had a date tonight (yes, another first date).. actually, just got in from it. Dinner, long conversation on her couch, and a lot of making out. .....I know, right? -tp wow, they really DO turn blue!
