sibernox Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 So, what's the most romantic thing anyone's ever said to you? Or what's the most romantic gesture you've ever witnessed? I know a friend who bought his girlfriend a bouquet of 12 roses, and in the middle he put one fake rose, and he attached a note which said "I will love you till the last rose fades". Personally, I found that very romantic. So yeah, share 'em with us.
maoserr Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 "I want you." - lacking in creativity, but we're not all english majors.
ShoeGirl Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 When my ex and I worked at the same restaurant he called me while I was working and said that he had lost his credit card and asked me to run out to my car and look and see if it was there when I got a chance, I didn't have any customers so I told him I would do it right then. We had to park behind the restaurant and across the street so I ran over there. I looked everywhere and couldn't find his card so I went back in and went to the phone and there was a dozen roses, and a teddy bear holding balloons for my birthday. It was the cutest thing ever! And it shocked me because it was the day before my b-day but he wanted to show off in front of our co-workers. I got another half dozen roses on my b-day too (18 total for my 18th b-day).

My Fair Katie Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 "Katie, I love you more than anything and nothing would make me happier than for you to give me the honor of being my wife."
riobikini Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 re: Sibernox: "..what's the most romantic thing anyone's ever said to you?" "I love you like that" whispered soft as silk into my ear while standing behind me, his body pressed against me, and arms engulfing me like a warm blanket, as we watched the evening sun slowly turn the world golden and kiss the lake on its way down to sleep. See there? -I can be romantic, too! (Smile) -Rio
luvtoto Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 When an ex told me once that he wished we met sooner in life, and that I was the mother of his kids. For some reason, that just got me.

tanbark813 Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 "The first time I set eyes on Mary Swanson, I just got that old fashioned romantic feeling where I'd do anything to bone her." -Dumb & Dumber
Pyro Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 haha What about your favorite movie love quotes? Anyone got any? I'm thinking I might take that new chick from Logistics. If things go well I might be showing her my O-face. "Oh... Oh... Oh!" You know what I'm talkin' about. "Oh!" --Drew. I think that everyone should know what movie that is from.
amaysngrace Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 When an ex told me once that he wished we met sooner in life, and that I was the mother of his kids. For some reason, that just got me. OMG my BF says it to me too. He wishes we met ten years ago so my kids could be his kids. That's romantic?? I must have sh*t for brains. I'd have never seen that as romantic.
Author sibernox Posted January 28, 2007 Author Posted January 28, 2007 One of my favorite: from the Notebook "The best kind of love is the kind that awakens the soul, makes us reach for more, plants a fire in our hearts, and brings peace to our minds."
magichands Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 "The best kind of love is the kind that awakens the soul, makes us reach for more, plants a fire in our hearts, and brings brown to our penis." That's beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
