How would any of you feel about it/respond (1. if he had told you previously it was over... and 2. if he hadn't told you)? Should I maybe add something like "I'm concerned what he has been telling both of us all along"? Dear Tina, My name is Linda. I am the woman Doug mentioned back in August he has been seeing. I recently came across the email correspondence you exchanged with him the months following your reuniting at the wedding (she was his ex from 20 yrs ago). When I confronted him, he told me he had let you know the last time he saw you, at Thanksgiving, that he was in love with me and wanted to further our relationship and dispelled any notions of a romantic future for the two you. But I'm getting the idea he maybe did not really say those things based on your comments about him in your email below. Doug and I have been involved since September 2006. He recently expressed interest in establishing a home with me but I would like to know for certain things between the two of you have been finalized. I hold no ill feelings toward you Tina but would really appreciate if you could shed some light on this -- woman to woman -- in confidence.
