For some people age and birthdates are not a big deal and they like to keep them pretty low key with little celebration if any. Usually a kiss and hug and happy birthday does the trick. I have found that most people like this usually have a birthday that falls close to a major holiday such as Christmas, or Captain Kangaroo Day. I am one of these folks as the 17 is pretty close to the 24 so, it was always sort of bypassed and I was made to feel not as important as the other 14 children in our family – lol. There always little things like that which fall under the radar, like some people do NOT like being asked how old they are while others like it because when you get to be certain age its harder to tell someone that is 25 or 35. those middle years are a b-tch! Anyooo, its more curiousity for me. And another one that goes unattended is dancing.
