glitzy55 Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 I got offered a positon today but officially it will be tom since the manager must get back to me on a change in work hours that I asked for. Anyway I'm assuming my new job like to start people on a monday..as I would as well but I'm not 100% sure. They do know I'm working and that I'm gonna have to give notice. My question is do I hand my notice in tom with my last day next fri ..technically that's will only be 9 work days and not the exact 10. Or do I wait to hand in my notice monday..or hand it in tom and have my last day be on a monday..which would be 2 weeks from tom's date so they have the full 10 days. I know it's confusing lol. If it was up to me I would give no notice..hey they fired someone last week at the end of the day on a wed lol..only thing is that I want my vaction days paid out and to not burn bridges.
