When I go clothing shopping I always ask whichever attractive female employee is around for her opinion. After all, she's my primary demographic. He just needs to start going to some venues with women in his age range, make some male friends, Posibly get a second job (because if he has a pension he shouldnt quit his current job) or he should push for that transfer or promotion at his current job. Unfortunately, it's been so long that he's completely psyched himself out now. He's mind-F'd himself... I think he needs to find a way to socialize himself... become better-versed in social and emotional intelligence, social cues and protocols, reading body-language, etc... that's the stuff that makes you friends and gets you girls. The only way to do this is immersion and a little bit of studying. Take a small group communication class at a community college. The combination of speech, philosophy, psychology, listening, and sales skills did wonders for my social intelligence. Link to post Share on other sites

I definetly need to learn how to be better skilled at selecting classes, volunteer work, events. I look over lists of things on craigslist (for instance) and trying to figure out which ones meet my needs/goal-fixations is challenging. The class I'm thinking of was under either a speech or communications major, I'm not sure which. I'll check out the links you posted later since it's it's 1 am right now. Classes like general psychology usually have a lot of women, but they're all typically 18 year old girls, so I don't know how much that helps you. I also had another idea today. Find events you want to go to, and try posting under strictly platonic on craigslist for a friend to go with you?
