The most overdone topic

Ok I'm sure this has been discussed millions of times but I think this might be an actual question here.

I met someone on this other site.. not a dating site it's just for social stuff.. and it's geared towards minorities. Anyways, it has a dating section and you can list your stats.. height age etc. I'm short, so I put my real height there. If a girl views my dating profile, I'm pretty sure she sees my height and is fine with it.

But I met this other one and we been talking a while.. but I saw she didn't look at my dating site. So she probably doesn't know how tall I am. And I know my picture makes me look taller. I always gotta go through this ordeal lol. Oh man, it sucks. So anyway, SHOULD I say something, like.. hey are u cool if I'm so and so height. Cause to me, that seems like I need reassurance and I feel kinda wimpy for asking. But then, I don't know if it's worse to find out in person. But then, I think I might have the personality to make up for it in person. It's confusing. I def. don't got napoleaon complex, and to be honest I don't think I have that typical short guy look. Maybe since I'm proportional and got style ;P I dunno. But still, EVERY time I go thru this. Should I tell her, should I not? That's the question.

So, just in general, is it better to say something before I meet them? Or not? Thanks and sorry for yet another S.G. post..

I guess I would just ask her if she's checked out the dating part of your profile yet. Hopefully she will just go ahead and take a look. If she still talks/flirts with you then you have your answer.

Good luck!

Have you ever considered that she didn't look at your dating part because she's not interested in dating you? At that point, your height should be a non-issue.

I know if I was into a guy and knew he had a profile, I'd be interested to see if I fit his criteria and vise versa.

I think you should mention your height in some context, but don't make it sound like you have a complex about it. Don't make fun of it. E.g. "This huge woman fell straight on me and now imagine I am X'Y" tall and weigh Z lbs... she almost crushed my bones!" You get the picture. :)
