Guest
I've recently signed onto a political campaign for 07. My job is to be the snarling dog guarding the friendly, non-offensive politician from every and all hateful commentary. No jab is left unresponded to. You could say it is something like Ann Coulter's job, except, I am defending a candidate who is actually right, which makes it much easier. I'm so tired after only a week at this that it is keeping me awake at night. My day is filled with polls and angry message board posters who must be responded to. Half the time they don't know what they are talking about. The rest are afraid the candidate will pull the plug on their wasteful use of public money. Everyone is trying to paint a picture of everyone else. It is truly taxing. I already am already envisioning a long vacation in June. Just wondering about other people with very stressful jobs and how you keep yourself from becoming emotionally entangled with with mini-crises on a daily basis.
