hey im from california and im 14 my boyfriend is 19 my parents are really against it we are prohibited from talking we are not to see each other under no circustamces well we were hiding it from eveyone but somehow my parents found out and they were going to send him to prison if he doesnt stoptalking to me but i mean i love him and he loves me he has never done anything that has made me think he was a "predator" i think thats just stupid because we are both of young age i mean hes not 40 he has never pressured me to have or ingages in sexual conversation with me

i dont knw what to do i need opinions so i come to a conclusion that i have to ask complete strangers

cause my family would go buzurk if i asked them that

My personal opinion is, ask yourself: "Is he worth it?".

 

You're 14, you are still young. When you're young your perception of seeing things is altered. Have you had any previous boyfriends on which you can compare him to? If not then I suggest thinking it over hard.

 

Just because your parents don't want him around doesn't mean he is worth fighting for. In my opinion family comes first, and you're 14, and in my eyes they are right here. If he isn't worth it, and isn't the guy you want to spend the rest of your life with then don't go against your parents will in order to satisfy yourself because it will just backfire.

I guess I can see why you'd fall inlove with a 19 year old, but in all honesty, I can't understand (and no offense to you) why a 19 year old would fall inlove with a 14 year old. You two are in TWO EXTREMELY different places in life. You are just starting out as a teen, and he's almost 20, an adult. Not only maturity levels are different, but life experiences too. All that you haven't been through yet, HE has. And, what about sex?

 

He can be charged, so try your best to stay away from him until you're atleast 16 or older...Not sure what the laws are where you live.

 

If it is TRUE LOVE, he'll be there waiting for you when the time is right.
