PWSX3
As everyone knows it's that time of year to give your sweetheart some chocolate, but I would like to give her some that is "good" for you. I hear they are now saying there are some good ones out there. I want to give my DW the chocolate because she will appreciate it, but I would also like to give her some healthier kind because I care for her. I was thinking ov making up my own heart box with things like nuts or other things that are a little better for you, but I decided that might not be a good idea right now. Thanks in advance!!! Star Gazer
Well, dark chocolate has many health benefits, but in SMALL DOSES, otherwise the calorie content just makes it not worth it.
magichands
Don't sweat it... everything is fine in moderation. A big box of chocolates never killed nobody. This article is terribly old, but - I believe - cuts to the heart of the matter. Belinda Linden, Head of Medical Information at the BHF, said: "Advising people to eat chocolate regularly for their hearts' sake is a reckless message that people should ignore. ... "Yes, chocolate contains flavonoids. However, most chocolate bars contain high levels of saturated fats and sugar that contribute to high cholesterol levels, obesity and coronary heart disease. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/in_depth/sci_tech/2001/glasgow_2001/1521982.stm
VinaAmez
Well the best chocolate that I've EVER had came from the Swiss. But I don't think you can fly there to get it lol! I'm a Hersey fan myself so I can do with the Hersey Kisses.

That stuff tastes like... tastes like... sugar and cocoa pressed into moulds. OK. I suppose that is chocolate. But give me a Toblerone anyday. Sucks that I can't afford them. pricillia
They are the best, thier ingredients are fresh and they take care with the quality of the product. As far as being healthy yes dark chocolate is better but it is an indulgence, The Lindt Chocolate is not waxy like the Hershey's and other store brough brands.. DC raises the serationin level in your brain which makes you happier. Good Luck

pricillia
With Valentine's Day just around the corner? In your dreams. Well there are Lindts stores all over the US... In malls mostly. Go on line and go to thier Website, I am sure that there is a location list. Also some grocery stores have it as well they do have gift boxes and so does CVS, but the best place to get them is at the Lindt Store itself They will have chocolate left, they get shipped regularly

Snickers bar is about the only candy bar I like that is chocolate and that's because it has nuts in it. I've found it everywhere, even at the grocery store or drugstore. This is what a package of truffles looks like: http://www.regalchocolate.com/catalog/images/475479.jpg It's all over the net, so you could have it delivered too, although by now that's going to require a huge rush fee.
