AutumnLeaves
If you have recollections of doing sexual things to yourself as a young child--things that you shouldn't even know about until you're at least a teenager or something along those lines--does that automatically mean you were a victim of sexual abuse? BabyPhoenix
If you have recollections of doing sexual things to yourself as a young child--things that you shouldn't even know about until you're at least a teenager or something along those lines--does that automatically mean you were a victim of sexual abuse? No, it does not. Humans become sexually aware long before puberty. Children can masturbate as early as 2 or 3 (as in sexual touching, fondling etc.)
tinktronik
Some children are just more highly sexed than others . My middle son was beginning to masterbate as young as two , I was at first terrified but saw his doc who said it was just normal for him. He continues to be much more highly sexed than my other children in that way , more curious about sexual things and at times it makes me uncomfortable , but I just try to find a honest was to redirect him .
