lostone Posted November 7, 2002 Share Posted November 7, 2002 HELP!!! 2 3/4 yrs. w/ girlfriend. Things pretty good until 40 days ago. Mean, verbal, will not tell me what is wrong. She got mean when her grandmother died 40 days ago. SHe wants nothing to do with me. She told me she knows she is not herself, want prof. help and is depressed. She has all the sings of manic depression. I love her and she knows it. I'm so supporting, but she doesn't want it. She stays out all night, sleeps all day, goes to work and starts all over again. Her ex cheated on her and would not cheat on me. I believe her. She doesn't cook, clean or do laundry. I do it all of the time. I cannot stand much more becuase she says she is fine. I talk to her nicely and tell her our problems ans she says, "that is who I am and deal with it." SHe tells me she is moving out one day and the next day she loves me to death, apologizes and says she cannot live w/o me. God I need help. I want to save this, but I do not know what to do anymore. Tony T Posted November 7, 2002 Share Posted November 7, 2002 It sounds as if she has some degree of bipolar mood disorder. This is a fairly common thing but gets worse if left untreated. I have no idea why you would want to be around somebody who has you on a roller coaster all the time. Life is way too short. There are just so many ladies with their heads on correctly. Get over this problem child and find you a sane ladyfriend. No advice we could give you here is going to make your lady behave any differently.
